Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow our custom apparel business in Tennessee. You will sell to souvenir shops, resort retailers, and gift shops, developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships.

This field-based role requires heavy travel, attendance at trade shows, and the ability to build a long-term book of business while driving year-over-year territory growth. W-2 base + commission; 1099 commission-based option available in high-volume territories.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience managing a geographic territory.
• Experience selling custom apparel.
• Experience selling adjacent resort/souvenir retail products.
• Comfortable with heavy travel and field selling.
• Industry experience preferred over years of experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to sell custom apparel into souvenir shops, resort retailers, and gift shops across Tennessee! You’ll be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing relationships, and driving territory revenue.

This is a highly field-based role with significant travel, including prospecting throughout your territory and attending multiple trade shows each year.

Day to Day

• Sell custom apparel and resort/souvenir merchandise to retail accounts and gift shops.
• Prospect for new business and build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Manage and grow an established territory or build out an open market.
• Conduct in-person account visits and attend industry trade shows.
• Build a long-term book of business and drive year-over‑year territory growth.

What We're Looking For

• Proven outside sales experience managing a geographic territory.
• Experience selling custom apparel strongly preferred.
• Experience selling adjacent products such as sunglasses, hats, flip‑flops, tote bags, or stickers into resort/souvenir retail is also highly relevant.
• Comfortable with heavy travel and selling in the field.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Passionate about building a long‑term book of business.
• Industry experience is more important than years of experience.

1099: Commission-based; top reps earning $500K+ in high-volume territories.

W-2: base + commission, with first-year compensation dependent on experience.
