Job summary

Herc Rentals in Bryan, TX is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify, develop and nurture business relationships within the designated territory. You will drive revenue growth by visiting customer sites and offices, building a robust network, and planning sales strategies to achieve goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales in industrial or heavy equipment, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial/heavy equipment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred
• Valid driving license and ability to visit client sites regularly

Responsibilities

• Manage territory daily and drive revenue growth by visiting customer job sites/offices
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via phone and online
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to hit targets
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment
• Identify customer needs and respond to market conditions and pricing
• Engage strategic accounts including industrial, traditional and nontraditional clients
• Support team members and collaborate across branches
