Job summary

Chaney Enterprises in North Carolina seeks a seasoned sales professional to identify, develop, sell and service customers and markets across assigned territories. You will handle quotes, orders, and problem resolutions, and participate in community events to promote products and services.

You will also prepare daily sales reports and customer profiles for Credit, ensuring accurate information and timely updates to support growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school education required; college a plus.
• Must have effective communication skills with customers, vendors and reps.
• Knowledge of concrete, sand and gravel, block products and light equipment.
• Must have appropriate and satisfactory transportation.
• State certification for testing of materials within one year of holding position.

Responsibilities

• Develop itineraries to maintain contact with customers within assigned territories and build strong relationships with owners and key personnel.
• Monitor leads via Major Bid Process; attend major bid openings as needed.
• Prepare quotes and pricing, place orders, and monitor delivery.
• Troubleshoot billing, quality, quantity, and service issues; assist Billing and Credit.
• Promote products at trade fairs and community events to generate new business.
• Prepare daily sales reports and customer profiles for Credit Department.
