Job summary

Corning Optical Communications seeks a Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence across Western NC and South Carolina, selling end-to-end optical networking solutions to enterprise customers through distributors and end users.

Responsibilities include building a territory plan, managing a broad channel ecosystem, and driving consultative sales while maintaining an active $25K+ opportunity board and accurate Salesforce pipeline updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution selling and building long-term customer relationships.
• Proven track record meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing territories.
• Bachelor’s degree and ability to navigate complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory sales plan across Western NC and South Carolina.
• Develop relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users.
• Drive product preference and manage the buying process at strategic accounts.
• Provide education and training to distributor teams and customers.
• Maintain pipeline and forecast updates in Salesforce.com.
• Collaborate with regional teams to maximize resources and growth.
