Technical demand creation + distributor pull-through
A growth-oriented manufacturer of engineered building-protection products is seeking a commercially thoughtful, customer-focused regional sales representative. The role combines regional strategy, distributor relationships, contractor-facing business development, and project-level field support.
The organization is recognized for technical product support, education, and partnership with construction professionals. This is an opportunity for a self-directed territory leader who enjoys both building relationships and connecting early project activity to measurable results.
Build and implement an actionable territory strategy in partnership with regional leadership.
Develop and strengthen specialty distributor relationships, support product education, and manage the flow of project opportunities.
Meet with commercial construction and concrete contractors to create demand and support successful field use.
Identify and track projects from early opportunity through distributor bid and installation.
Work with specification and technical specialists to support design firms, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Use CRM, project intelligence, and KPIs to focus resources and make sound commercial decisions.
You can explain how a project moved from your initial field engagement to a successful sale, including who influenced the specification, how the distributor participated, and what happened on the jobsite. You are equally comfortable with contractor relationships, distributor economics, and the discipline of keeping projects moving.
Four or more years of sales experience and a measurable record of market-share or profitability contribution.
Experience in concrete, waterproofing, building envelope, specialty construction chemicals, or related technical building products is particularly relevant.
Existing experience supporting distributors and engaging end users or contractors is highly desirable.
Proven planning, interpersonal judgment, accountability, and willingness to learn a technically differentiated product portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Microsoft Office and Salesforce proficiency preferred.
A chance to shape a regional market rather than simply inherit a book of recurring orders.
Direct involvement with contractors, distributors, specifications, and field applications.
A collaborative team structure with access to technical and commercial resources.
Opportunity to apply construction-market knowledge to a differentiated technical product offering.
