Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Territory Account Manager for the Water Supply & Disposal segment to cover Northern California. You will own your territory, selling Pentair brands through distributors and dealers, and leading technical trainings and on-site support.

You will travel 50–60% to dealers and customers, develop strategic partnerships, and drive top-line revenue. A 5+ year outside sales background in plumbing or water industries is preferred, with CRM proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience managing a territory.
• Experience with indirect sales environments and channel partners.
• Ability to operate in a 2-step distribution model with dealers/installers.
• Experience with water, fluid handling, and/or plumbing products preferred.
• Proficient in CRM for lead gen and documentation.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow assigned Pentair business with local communities of drillers, plumbers, irrigation specialists, and distributors.
• Execute distribution and dealer sales strategies to increase revenue and improve return on sales.
• Build relationships with distributor partners and provide technical presentations and on-site training.
• Develop technical understanding of products to address customer needs and promote brand awareness.
• Analyze customer specs to determine applications and recommend solutions.
