Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to grow Shaw's market presence in Northern Virginia (Fairfax, Centreville, Chantilly, Leesburg). You will cultivate dealer relationships, present Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial products, and manage sample displays.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and MS Windows software (MS Office).
• Ability to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product samples; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; some evenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls to existing customers; promote hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads.
• Sell and assemble display racks weighing 50lbs+; manage sample inventory.
• Prospect for new accounts; monitor territory market conditions.
• Prepare sales reports and communicate performance against goals.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
