Job summary

Kirby is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a designated territory, grow profitability, and guide a team of Sales Representatives. You will balance hands-on customer engagement with strategic planning, using market insights and data to drive results.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, set territories and quotas, and collaborate cross-functionally to win major accounts and contribute to long-term customer value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4–10 years in sales leadership or related roles.
• Experience leading a team and achieving territory growth targets.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust plans to improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activity across an assigned territory to achieve growth objectives.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate Sales Representatives with clear quotas and goals.
• Evaluate team performance and address day-to-day challenges.
• Join customer calls and support major accounts.
• Forecast, budget, and report on sales and profitability.
• Manage product lines, vendor interactions, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer specifications.
