Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a District Sales Representative for Eastern Kentucky, with responsibility for growing sales in Mt. Sterling or Jackson and surrounding areas.

You will work with independent wholesale distributors and retailers to grow market share while representing our familiar brands. The role is a salaried position in a fast-paced environment, offering a company vehicle, profit-sharing opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years post-high school education or equivalent experience.
• Three years of retail management or sales experience.
• Previous customer service experience across diverse situations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and mobile technology.
• Willingness to travel extensively within or outside the district.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Foster sales growth through collaboration with independent wholesale distributors and retailers.
• Cultivate strong business relationships with distributors and retailers.
• Act as liaison between McKee Foods, distributors, and retailers.
• Motivate wholesalers to expand sales and recruit distributors.
• Provide orientation for new distributors and communicate best practices.
• Manage and develop the sales territory and vehicle operations.
• Maintain regular communication with supervision and complete reports timely.
