Job summary

Frontier Direct is seeking a Territory Sales Executive to grow all channels with a focus on employee benefits brokerages in designated U.S. markets.

This remote role requires locating candidates in Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio metros and delivering qualified meetings with decision-makers. You will report to the CCO and work with marketing, operations, finance, and account management to open new broker offices and drive hyper-growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience.

• Experience driving a metrics/KPI-based environment.
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
• Self-funded, ancillary benefits industry experience preferred.

Job description

Frontier Direct has sold its product through multiple channels: employee benefits brokers, general agencies, third-party administrators, captives, among others, to small-to-mid-sized self-funded employers. As the Territory Sales Executive at Frontier Direct, you will focus on growing all channels, with a primary emphasis on the employee benefits brokerage channel, in historically underdeveloped markets with significant growth opportunities.

The Territory Sales Executive is an integral part of the Commercial team, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). You will have interdepartmental exposure (marketing, operations, finance, account management) and will engage in designated territories and channels. You will also deliver qualified meetings and work with the CCO across every aspect of the sales cycle.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to devise strategic plans, conceive and execute projects, conduct and deliver market research, and engage internally and externally, in order to open new broker offices and develop relationships with key employee benefits decision-makers that will help us continue to deliver hyper-growth.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located within the Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio metropolitan areas.

• Network and engage prospective contacts via cold call, email, LinkedIn, marketing campaigns to scheduling qualified meetings

• Network with and continue to build on existing relationships within designated market(s)
• Continuously achieve weekly/monthly KPIs

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience
• Proven experience growing a book of business in an assigned territory
• Experience driving impact in a metrics/KPI-based environment
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies
• Self-funded, ancillary benefits industry experience preferred
• Healthcare-related experience preferred
• Experience building and owning relationships with employee benefits brokers in an assigned market
• Candidates should expect up to 40% travel for client meetings and other business-related purposes
