Job summary

Henkel is hiring for a remote sales role covering Northwest and North Central Ohio. You will grow and maintain the industrial adhesives business through distributors, identify opportunities, and tailor solutions to customer needs.

Travel up to 75% is required as you visit customers and train distributors, collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and deliver exceptional service in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or B2B sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Self-starter who uses Henkel’s resources to maximize opportunities.
• Time and project management skills required.
• Team player who works well with others.
• Experience with industrial distribution is a plus.
• Ability to travel for daily customer visits up to 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Grow and profitably maintain Henkel’s general industrial adhesives business within Northwest and North Central Ohio through distributors.
• Prospect for new business opportunities by visiting customers and distributors weekly.
• Sell products and services by determining customer needs at existing and new accounts.
• Work the sales process to identify and quantify the value proposition for customers.
• Educate, motivate and train Authorized Industrial Distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions.
• Analyze sales and marketing data to strategically prospect for new business while managing current customers.
• Implement strategies to support profitable growth of Henkel’s product lines in the territory.
• Prioritize and execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area.
• Offer a proactive and consultative approach to exploring needs with support from our technical team.
• Collaborate internally with Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, Inside Sales, Product Management and others to deliver excellent customer experience.
• Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.
• Utilize Henkel’s CRM to manage sales engagement activities and project pipeline; 25% overnight travel required.
• Remote position supporting a territory across Northwest and North Central Ohio (Toledo, Findlay, Lima, and more).
