Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a District Sales Engineer for the southern/central Ohio market. This home-based role requires residing within 50 miles of Westerville, OH or West Chester, OH to cover OEMs and distributors across the territory.

You will promote division products, develop sales plans, and provide technical support to customers while coordinating with marketing and engineering teams. Local travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years in sales/engineering/marketing roles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No relocation; candidates must live within 50 miles of Westerville, OH or West Chester, OH.

Responsibilities

• Sell division products to OEMs and through distributors; maintain key accounts in the territory.
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, architects, and other buyers.
• Provide technical assistance on product applications to accounts and industries.
• Develop and recommend sales plans and forecasts for assigned accounts; support long- and short-term objectives.
• Assist in customer service activities to ensure ongoing satisfaction; help train less experienced sales engineers.
