Job summary

Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to join our Chicago, IL team. You will drive revenue and retention while managing dealer relationships and forecasting in a remote-capable role.

You must reside in the specified city/region and travel within the territory as needed. The position reports to the Client Success Manager team and offers a base salary plus an annual incentive target, with a focus on data-driven ROI and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience, or an equivalent combo.
• Willingness to travel within an assigned sales territory.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Automotive industry or advertising media experience preferred.
• Experience in field-based sales and using CRMs/analytic tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue, retention, and referral goals.
• Manage sales pipeline and forecasting.
• Leverage sales enablement tools and analytics to inform dealer decisions.
• Expand relationships with multiple decision makers at dealer clients.
• Support cross-sell/upsell opportunities within an account portfolio.
