Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Route Sales Manager to lead a team of Merchandisers and drive profitable sales through effective route planning, merchandising standards, and replenishment activities across the territory.

You will sell customer plans, manage promotions, analyze performance, build lasting relationships with store managers, and develop team capabilities while controlling budget and labor resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a high school diploma required.
• 3+ years’ experience in consumer products/direct store delivery sales.
• Experience managing people/budgets.
• 2+ years supervising sales staff.
• Packaged goods/beverage experience preferred.
• Strong presence and persuasive presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask handling multiple customer accounts.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy guidelines.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Merchandisers/ORMs to maintain standards and replenish.
• Maximize profitable sales opportunities and build relationships with customers.
• Sell customer plans including CMA’s, pricing and promotional plans.
• Evaluate outlet opportunities and overcome objections.
• Lead customers to reach sales potential with merchandising ideas.
• Execute promotions and implement brand initiatives.
• Track call activity and performance against goals.
• Train and develop the merchandising team.
