Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Customer Manager Associate to cover a defined territory in the Kansas City area and develop relationships with store managers to drive short- and long-term performance goals. You will execute wall-to-wall sales coverage, merchandise products, support promotions, and conduct audits, pricing surveys, and reporting using our tools.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and sales experience are required, with proficiency in Outlook and Excel and a suitable home

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.
• Proficient with Outlook and basic Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sells promotional programs for displays at independent natural retailers purchasing from distributors.
• Sells incremental quantities for display and TPR via distributor programs.
• Develops relationships with store managers and buyers through clear communication and follow through.
• Obtains distribution and placement of client items at independent natural retailers through distributors such as UNFI and Kehe.
• Identifies and corrects voids.
• Merchandises manufacturer’s products for best shelf placement.
• Attends retailer resets when requested.
• Completes audits and pricing surveys in stores as requested.
• Communicates competitive and market activity to management.
• Uses supplied technology to report on results.
• Sets and reviews performance against objectives with Sales Manager.
