Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) seeks a Retail Merchandising Representative to oversee merchandising projects in Green Bay and surrounding areas. You will manage Shelf Services staff, vendors, brokers, and third-party merchandisers to execute resets, new store setups, and in-store programs.

You will lead project teams, train staff, monitor territory profitability, and build strong customer relationships while promoting UNFI products and Professional Services in-store.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact face to face with retailers to determine reset projects and create daily project plans using Shelf Services skills and technical solutions.
• Supervise and instruct 3rd Party and Retail Merchandising staff in the use of implementation of Planograms; train and mentor as needed.
• Lead project teams and partners to maximize profitability; monitor territory P&L performance.
• Conduct regular retailer visits to evaluate program effectiveness and influence assortment decisions.
• Independently resolve conflicts between retail, regional teams, UNFI, and vendor/broker partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and merchandising projects; maintain relationships with UNFI stakeholders.
• Regularly communicates with UNFI Sales Leaders regarding opportunities and issues.
• Sell promotional and sales programs; follow through on customer product requests.
• Assist with presentations and engage customers on the Professional Services Portfolio to strengthen relationships.
