Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) seeks a field sales representative to manage UNFI-distributed programs and select specialty categories. You will analyze store performance and collaborate with Account Management to implement customer-driven programs.

You will monitor item performance, adjust pricing for cost changes and promotions, and support promotional rollouts across multiple stores. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance meeting UNFI requirements.
• 3+ years in Perishable, grocery, or food merchandising.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor new item performance and analyze sales data to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Support promotional presentations and sales program rollouts.
• Consult with store management on cross-merchandising opportunities and maintain sales records.
• Collaborate with Category Management to execute Neighborhood Marketing strategies.
• Ensure plan-o-gram accuracy and store compliance.
• Maintain stock reports and complete inventory/sales reports as assigned.
• Build and maintain good customer relations and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
