Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to visit local retailers within your assigned territory and educate them on our client’s financial services. This field-based role requires daily travel, building strong merchant relationships, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every location.

You will engage merchants, place POS materials, and document activity using mobile tools. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations.
