Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Sales Representative to grow a paint sales territory across multiple market segments. You will manage wholesale accounts, secure new clients, and maintain existing relationships while using professional selling tools for pre-call planning and documenting calls.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales or customer service.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends; flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy to grow sales and profits with key and existing customers.
• Build relationships with customers by understanding their business needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to support customer solutions.
• Develop working relationships with stores to achieve goals.
• Generate leads and prepare quotes, promotions and negotiations.
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
• Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products.
• Maintain client records and answer questions about terms, products and prices.
