International Paper in Greeneville, TN is hiring a Sales Representative to manage a two-hour radius territory for Packaging Solutions North America. You will build strong customer relationships and drive profitable sales through regular in-person interactions.

This role emphasizes a blended approach from transactional to consultative selling, with 50%+ travel to client sites and events. A BA/BS and 2+ years of sales experience are required; manufacturing or corrugated box experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Corrugated box industry experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent International Paper’s Packaging Solutions North America in the packaging marketplace and manage a sales territory by developing and fostering customer relationships.
• Generate profitable sales through regular in-person interactions with prospective and existing customers.
• Assess customer packaging needs and offer recommendations to meet directives from regional/plant management.
• Grow the business with priority accounts by developing and implementing Key Account Plans.
• Travel to multiple customer sites/meetings weekly (50%+).
• May act as account team leader.
