Job summary

International Paper in Buffalo/Syracuse is seeking a Sales Representative to manage a North America sales territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive profitable sales within the Packaging Solutions North America group.

You will travel to customer sites about 50% of the time, develop Key Account Plans, and participate in a commissions plan with substantial earning potential. This role offers a base salary plus performance-based rewards and benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or related equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of sales experience
• Experience in the corrugated box industry
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Represent IP Packaging Solutions North America to package marketplace customers
• Generate profitable sales through regular in-person customer interactions
• Assess customer packaging needs and propose effective solutions
• Develop and execute Key Account Plans for priority accounts
• Travel to multiple customer sites weekly (50%+ of the time)
• May act as account team leader
