Qualifications

• 3+ years of metals or industrial sales experience.
• Experience collaborating with inside sales teams is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel within Connecticut and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with customers at all levels.
• Keeps customers informed about industry and Ryerson capabilities.
• Provides market intelligence to inform sales strategies and pricing.
• Increases revenue by expanding product lines and fabrication services.
• Coordinates with Inside Sales, Regional Sales, and other teams to develop quotes and proposals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
