Job summary

Texas Materials Group, Inc is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Central Texas to acquire new business and manage an active leads list. You will sell asphalt, stone, sand and gravel to a diverse customer base, including DOT contractors and builders, with support from estimators and area managers.

Key duties include growing revenue with existing customers, turning around quotes quickly, and developing long-term customer relationships while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in asphalt, stone, sand and gravel industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a territory as a sales representative or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow revenue by maintaining and expanding customer relationships.
• Prepare quotes for bids and projects with product expertise to add value.
• Travel to customer sites and work with team to bid and win work.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors and selling strategies.
• Represent Texas Materials to local agencies and associations.
