Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks an Outside Sales Representative for Central Texas. You will acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships, maintaining an active leads list, and creating and following up on referrals from existing customers.

You will sell asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel to our diverse customer base, including DOT contractors and builders. The role offers independence with support from estimators and area managers, requiring travel within the territory

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years previous sales experience in asphalt, stone, sand and gravel, or applicable industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships and maintaining an active project leads list.
• Sell asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel to DOT contractors, subcontractors, residential and commercial builders.
• Prepare quotes for bid work and follow up on opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and work with estimators/area managers to bid and acquire work.
