Job summary

CRH Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks an Outside Sales Representative for Central Texas to grow revenue by building strong customer relationships and managing a leads list. You will sell asphalt, stone, sand and gravel to a diverse client base including DOT contractors and builders.

You will prepare quotes, stay current on products, and work with estimators to bid and win projects while maintaining long-term customer loyalty. Travel and a proactive sales approach are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in asphalt, stone, sand and gravel or related industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a sales territory and handling customer service.
• Local market knowledge and established relationships preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships.
• Maintain active project leads list and referrals from existing customers.
• Sell asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel to DOT contractors and builders.
• Prepare quotes for bid work and provide value through construction product knowledge.
• Develop annual sales projections by product and support sales programs.
• Turn around quotes quickly and manage opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Represent the company with local agencies and associations.
• Collaborate with estimators and area managers to bid and win work.
