Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Central Texas (Austin) to grow the customer base by selling asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel, developing strong relationships, and managing project leads.

You will work with DOT contractors, residential and commercial builders, and will travel as needed. A minimum 3 years sales experience in asphalt/aggregates and a business degree or equivalent is required; proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in asphalt, stone, sand and gravel or related industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage a sales territory and build long-term relationships.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Local market knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships and maintaining an active project leads list.
• Sell asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel to DOT contractors, subcontractors, and builders.
• Prepare quotes and follow up on referrals from existing customers.
• Develop and maintain long-term loyal customer relationships to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with estimators and area managers to bid and acquire work.
