Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH Company, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Central Texas to grow revenue by developing strong customer relationships and managing an active leads list. You will sell asphalt, stone, sand and gravel to DOT contractors, subcontractors, residential and commercial builders.

You will prepare quotes, stay current on product changes, and represent the company with local agencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in asphalt, stone, sand and gravel, or a related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a territory in a sales role or similar.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Local market knowledge and established relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships and maintaining an active project leads list.
• Sell asphalt, stone, sand, and gravel to a diverse customer base including DOT contractors and builders.
• Prepare quotes for bid work and follow up to maximize revenue.
• Stay current on product changes, selling strategies, and competitive methods.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and promptly address issues.
