Job summary

ICONIX Waterworks is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain customer relationships, grow the assigned territory, and provide consultative solutions for waterworks projects.

You will visit job sites, understand customer needs, and prepare competitive quotes while coordinating with internal teams to fulfill orders and commitments. A strong work ethic and travel up to 50% are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of outside sales or related experience.
• Experience in waterworks, construction, utilities, or wholesale distribution preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and goal achievement.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple opportunities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their businesses, projects, and evolving needs.
• Grow your assigned territory by prospecting for new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Travel to job sites, contractors, municipalities, and industry partners to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotes for products and materials for bids and projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quotes, orders, and delivery meet customer commitments.
• Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and converting opportunities into profitable sales.
