Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and deliver innovative solutions for customers in the assigned territory. You will drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and by deepening existing relationships.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, with a Bachelor's or culinary certificate preferred, and at least 1 year of sales or food service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall sales and relationship management for existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies to present Gordon Food Service offerings.
• Visit customers on a regular cadence and conduct business reviews to identify opportunities for growth.
• Coordinate visits to prospective and existing customers and communicate order status.
