Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Oakland, CA is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to be the voice and first contact for clients. You will use consultative sales skills to understand client needs and convert them into loyal customers.

You’ll maximize revenue, maintain relationships, prospect new accounts, and collaborate with divisions to drive cross-selling opportunities while using Salesforce and other CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience or more.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographical territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from existing accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
