Job summary

Distribution International is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive territory growth and build strong customer relationships in the Phoenix area. You will manage accounts, prepare quotes, and present solutions that increase revenue and margins.

The role requires overnight travel and a valid driver’s license, with CRM experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree or some college is encouraged, and compensation includes base pay plus commission with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required for company travel.
• Overnight travel is required.
• CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Use effective pre-call planning, market information, scheduling, and maximization of sales opportunities.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Effectively communicate and turnover order details to Customer Service Representatives.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, reports, correspondence, and product/industry presentations to customers at all levels within the customer’s company.
• Report on weekly sales activities, operations, and forecasting information.
• Ensure timely submission of expense reports.
