Job summary

Distribution International is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow existing customers, generate new accounts, and meet monthly quotas. You will work with outside sales and other team members to provide product and technical information by phone, process orders and quotes, and upsell via cross-selling.

Requirements include 18+ years old, 1+ year B2B sales, valid driver’s license if travel is involved, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication, organization, multitasking, time

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Minimum 1 year of business-to-business sales experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information by phone.
• Determine customer requirements and recommend specific products and solutions.
• Proactively suggest alternate products based on cost, availability, or specs to increase satisfaction and profitability.
• Present price, credit, and terms per standard procedures.
• Process orders, quotes, or returns accurately.
• Provide availability details for in-stock items and shipment dates.
