Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in California seeks an Outside Sales Representative to cultivate business with independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts across the territory.

This dayshift role offers a starting base salary of $60k to $75k, depending on experience, with quarterly bonuses and a path to full commission. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and ESOP after 30 days, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter sales mentality.
• Motivation as self-starter.
• Automotive background/knowledge.
• Integrity and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a proven selling system with supportive marketing material.
• Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory.
• Dayshift position - no overnights, except when traveling to Jasper HQ for visits and regional meetings.
• Work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets.
• Develop then build long-term value-based relationships and plan and manage accounts.
