Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions, a leader in re-manufactured engines and transmissions, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow business across our Chicago territory. You will call on independent repair facilities, fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts to build lasting relationships.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, a hunter mentality, and automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to maximize sales in the assigned territory.
• Call on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city/government accounts, marinas, and national accounts.
• Perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals.
• Work with cross-functional teams (inside sales, customer service, production, distribution).
• Plan and manage accounts; introduce new products and updates.
• Grow the business through prospecting and building long-term value-based relationships.

The position includes calling on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts.
