Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf is seeking a Territory Manager to cultivate relationships with end-use customers and distribution partners across Western PA, Eastern OH, Western NY, and WV. You will present Shaw’s products and educate architects and engineers on our turf solutions.

This role requires proactive project prospecting, extensive travel (50–75%), and the ability to work with a remote support team across time zones while leveraging Salesforce.com and other digital tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years outside sales experience or qualified sales training program completed.
• Must reside within territory.
• 50% to 75% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach with end users, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, etc. to select appropriate systems for their projects that fit within usage requirements, budget and time frame.
• Establish / maintain relationships and grow distribution partners.
• Give presentations to end-users, school boards, facilities management personnel, senior level stakeholders in athletic programs, architects, and engineers to educate them on Shaw Sports Turf benefits.
• Travel throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunches, dinners, or special events.
• Attend regional and national conventions when required.
• Establish a presence and relationship with end-use networking groups in your territory.
• Understand product line, procurement processes, and sports field construction.
