Job summary

BD is seeking an Associate Territory Manager to promote Peripheral Interventions (PI) within a defined territory, engaging physicians, clinical staff, and procurement to drive product utilization. Location focus is Washington DC/Baltimore, with possible coverage of nearby areas.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, sales experience, and knowledge of PI and vascular access; strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One year of relevant experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in peripheral intervention and vascular access desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact between BD and customers (Hospital Staff, Clinicians, Procurement).
  • Determine current PI product usage and develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers in purchasing processes.
  • Conduct product presentations to physician groups and staff.
  • Address technical or service issues related to BD products.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer accounts and programs to boost PI market share.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows as scheduled by Regional Sales Manager.
  • Assist in training new employees and students.
  • Communicate product updates and regulatory changes to customers.
  • Collaborate with sales reps on trials and new product introductions.
