Job summary

4Rivers Equipment is seeking a Territory Manager / Outside Sales professional to cover El Paso and West Texas, promoting John Deere Construction & Forestry solutions.

You will build long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, present equipment quotes, and manage a robust sales pipeline to drive growth in a dynamic field role requiring travel across a defined territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or applicable construction, agriculture, or equipment industry experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your assigned territory.
• Generate sales of new and used construction equipment, attachments, and related solutions.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up plans.

• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and communicate sales activity to leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM systems preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Regular travel throughout an assigned territory.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to navigate construction jobsites and customer locations.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment as required.
• May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds.
• May require obtaining or maintaining a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
