Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX seeks an experienced medical device sales professional to drive growth across the Austin and San Antonio territory. You will partner with Field Clinical Specialists and the Regional Director to guide physicians and staff in mastering device use for optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires independent project management, strong account insight, and the ability to develop annual plans that exceed territory objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience per Edwards criteria.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive sales experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (includes car, air, overnight).
• Medical device sales experience preferred.
• Experience launching a new implantable technology preferred.
• Creativity and diplomatic communication skills that influence customer buying decisions.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology.
• Confidence working with limited guidance and direction from your manager.
• Expertise in catheter delivered technology and comfortable with hands-on clinician training.
• Established network in the interventional cardiology market.
• Expert clinical skills specifically in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and business development across an Austin and San Antonio-based territory.
• Partner with Field Clinical Specialists and Regional Director.
• Guide physicians and staff in mastering device use to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Coordinate highest-quality case support in the assigned geography.
• Understand customer needs and account dynamics within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute annual plans to achieve and exceed territory objectives.
• Work efficiently on complex projects independently and as part of a field team.
• Optimize resources for customer engagement.
• Informally mentor new colleagues to support development of a robust field footprint in the United States.
