Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 flooring leader, seeks a Territory Manager for the Dallas area. This entry-level sales role focuses on discovering new customers, supporting existing markets, and achieving short and long-term objectives in the business plan.

You will travel 75-100% domestically to meet clients, present products, quote prices, take orders, and provide customer service while aligning with marketing policies. A college degree is a plus; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree a plus.
• 1-3 years of progressively responsible work related experience.
• Ability to learn and maintain indebt knowledge of Mohawk’s business and product lines.
• Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts including basic accounting and distribution.
• Proficient with PC, e-mail and in-house database systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales calls, travel to customers, present products, quote prices, take orders and close transactions.
• Provide customer service to resolve issues within marketing policies.
• Communicate customer requirements to other departments as needed.
• Monitor territory performance and take action to improve results.
• Provide product feedback to managers and customer service.
