The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience, ability to travel by car, and skill in Salesforce. On-site work with product demonstrations and reports will be routine.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel in a van/SUV with product samples.
• Able to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on flooring products and samples.
• Present products to dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads.
• Sell and build display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts within the geographic area.
• Prepare reports of sales transactions and volume.
• Communicate periodic sales reports and market needs.
• Analyze sales stats from computer reports to set goals.
• Monitor travel expenditures and sample budget compliance.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Sell Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial; educate customers.
