Job summary

The Illinois Lottery is hiring a Lottery Sales Representative for Territory 506, based in Springfield, IL. You will support retailers, promote Lottery products, and advise on promotions and equipment while working closely with the Sales Division.

This role requires a four-year college background in Marketing/PR/Business and about two years of marketing or sales experience. Some travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four years of college with courses in Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Administration.
• Requires two years progressively responsible experience in marketing, sales, or a promotional field.

Responsibilities

• Distributes Lottery promotional materials to Lottery retailers in Territory 506.
• Evaluates performance of licensed retailers for compliance with Department policies.
• Reports all sales activities and plans to supervisor and Private Manager.
• Provides assistance to retailers regarding installation and upkeep of Lottery equipment and products.
• Attends staff meetings to keep apprised of new developments and sales promotions.
• Assists in calling on potential new retailers in their territory identified by Lottery management.
