Job summary

Summit Business Group is seeking a Direct Insurance Sales Representative to manage an assigned sales territory, engage business owners, and present top-tier supplemental insurance solutions. The role emphasizes field visits, relationship-building, and driving new business with CRM support.

You will conduct in-person and online training, call on prospects, and develop a personal book of business while meeting monthly and quarterly targets. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially in outside sales.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive training cycles, both in-person and online.
• Superior organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• A passion for empowering clients and a strong sense of responsibility for their well-being.
• Health & Life general lines license, or the drive to obtain it within 90 days (with our support).

Responsibilities

• Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be reserviced: Selling Business to Business.
• Build and maintain your own book of business.
• Meet with sales team manager to set monthly and quarterly targets and quotas.
• Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory.
• Submit your sales metrics and activity daily.
