Job summary

Summit Business Group is hiring a Direct Insurance Sales Representative to cover an assigned territory in the field. You will contact business owners, assess needs, and offer supplemental insurance solutions, using Salesforce CRM to engage prospects and close deals.

You will drive your own schedule, build a strong client base, and participate in ongoing training and development. A health and life license is preferred or pursued with company support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Health & Life general lines or willing to obtain with licensing support.
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell to business owners and decision-makers in your territory.
• Call on new and existing clients, balance cold leads with warm leads.
• Build and manage your own book of business and meet targets.
• Present products and coordinate with the sales team to hit quotas.
