Job summary

Rain Bird is seeking an Account Specialist to join our Landscape Inside Sales team. You will generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting, qualify sales opportunities, and manage existing customer relationships within an assigned territory.

This role helps expand Rain Bird’s market presence by selling hardware and SaaS solutions, and by strengthening consultative selling skills with customers and partners across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 3+ years in sales roles.
• Experience with outbound prospecting, discovery calls, and demos.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to create a qualified pipeline.
• Generate leads via outbound prospecting and qualify opportunities.
• Collaborate with field sales to win new business and drive outcomes.
• Drive SaaS customer growth and retention by increasing adoption and renewals.
• Leverage CRM and sales engagement platforms to manage activities and pipeline.
• Travel up to 10% for meetings, training and events.
