Job summary

PacWest Machinery LLC is seeking an outside Sales Representative to cover the North Sound region from the Mount Vernon, WA area. The role focuses on heavy-duty equipment sales, including new and used Volvo and complementary gear, with opportunities for rental and service support across Washington.

The successful candidate will manage a defined territory, develop relationships, and provide on-site demonstrations, with base plus commission and a strong earnings potential through sales of equipment

Qualifications

• Five years of construction equipment sales experience preferred; related equipment acceptable.
• College degree preferred; sales experience may substitute for education.
• Must be proficient with MS Office and online specification/ordering software.
• Clear communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues is essential.
• Ability to analyze and interpret industry journals, procedures and regulations.
• Occasional business writing skills required.
• Ability to present information effectively and handle questions from clients and others.
• Travel across the territory with occasional overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated territory and customers to maximize PacWest Machinery presence.
• Sells, rents and leases Volvo and related equipment.
• Quote, price, contract delivery and close orders.
• Grow customer relationships to increase market share and revenue.
• Provide on-site equipment demonstrations and technical support.
• Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with products and promotions.
• Maintain accurate information in the sales tracking system and manage expenses.
