Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Texas is seeking an Area Manager to lead a defined sales territory, grow independent and regional accounts, and achieve budgeted sales and profit targets. You will regularly engage with existing and potential customers, develop actionable business plans, and manage time and resources to deliver results.

You will also promote company branded products and oversee pricing and credit terms.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years sales related work experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills including, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
• Regularly calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develops and executes business plans.
• Effectively manages time and resources to attain results.
• Builds business through support of company branded product.
• Manages pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
