Job summary

Golden Years Home Care, a long-standing home care provider in California, seeks a dynamic Business Operations Manager to drive territory growth and sales across our Sacramento and Southern California regions.

You will own office-level performance, develop referral partnerships, and lead teams to achieve growth while maintaining regulatory compliance. The role requires travel between territories in a growing family-owned company environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in non-medical home care, home health, hospice, or senior living.
• 3+ years in business development or sales.
• Proven track record of growing census and revenue with numbers.
• Knowledge of sales strategies, customer service standards, and business development in healthcare or senior care sectors.
• Multi-site or territory management experience.
• Strong command of P&L management, KPIs, and CRM usage (GoHighLevel a plus).
• Established referral network in Sacramento or San Diego is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel between territories.

Responsibilities

• Build territory business development plans and cultivate referral partnerships with hospitals, discharge planners, hospices, senior living communities, elder law attorneys, and other referral partners.
• Set, track, and report on KPIs, including new client starts, weekly billable hours, lead-to-start conversion, caregiver retention, and gross margin.
• Oversee intake speed-to-lead and inquiry conversion processes.
• Manage office P&Ls and budgets, and identify opportunities to grow revenue and control costs.
• Drive team development through training programs, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives focused on operational excellence.
• Recruit, coach, and hold accountable office staff, care coordinators, and schedulers.
• Partner with ownership on pricing, service expansion, and long-term growth strategy.
• Ensure compliance with California Home Care Services Bureau requirements.
