Job summary

Timken Gears and Services Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking a Sales Territory Account Representative to cover opportunities in West Virginia, Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. The ideal candidate will reside in the territory and will have 5+ years mechanical experience, preferably in gearbox repair.

This opportunity is home based when not on the road, with travel ~50%. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region and requires strong prospecting,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Gearbox repair experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of customers and markets within the assigned territory.
• Visit customer sites and perform surveys; liaise with Field Service as needed.
• Create quotes/proposals to meet customer requirements and convert opportunities into sales.
• Develop market plans by understanding territory needs and customers.
