Job summary

Timken Gears and Services Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking a Sales Territory Account Representative to cover opportunities in West Virginia, Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. The role is home based when not on the road, with travel to be 50%+ of the time, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in gear/repair or related mechanical field.
• Knowledge of gear component manufacturing and repair is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for field/customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a sales territory across WV, OH, PA and Upstate NY.
• Visit customer sites, perform surveys, and coordinate with Field Service.
• Create quotes/proposals and convert opportunities to sales.
• Maintain accurate sales reporting and forecasting.
• Travel approximately 50% or more, home-based when not on the road.
