Job summary

Diesel Direct is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Dallas Metropolitan Market in the Commercial Fuel and Lubricant Division. You will hunt new business via phone, virtual, and in-person meetings to close opportunities, while assisting with credit and collections as needed and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a hunter mentality, with a willingness to spend substantial time in the field and travel within the Dallas region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales experience (petroleum preferred).
• Proven track record of driving sales where price and service matter.
• Experience with cold calling and prospecting.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and CRM applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including proposals.

Responsibilities

• Drive incremental profitability through preparation and action to close business.
• Meet or exceed monthly volume, revenue and profit targets.
• Develop new customers by planning daily work to call on prospects.
• Manage a CRM-based pipeline and complete sales cycle tasks (forecasting, reporting, database maintenance).
• Prepare sales proposals with pricing, terms and service offerings based on ROI thresholds.
• Monitor market pricing, products and competition insights.
• Protect company information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain corporate image in all interactions with team, customers, and vendors.
